Not bad, for your first digital drawing. You pay attention to shading here and there, something I neglect to do on my own digital crap, so that's a plus. This doesn't look like your usual style, but I'm guessing that's because of using a mouse. Speaking of which, does lowering the mouse-sensitivity really help that much? I keep it as is, so maybe it might help me as well.

The mouse sensitivity makes a HUGE difference. It allows for more steadiness and smoother lines.
I would make it as slow as possible without it being too cumbersome to actually move.

Nice job, as usual. Can't say I'm a fan of dat OMG HAPPY face. Just a LITTLE bit on the creepy side.
Here's hoping you do go back and make your series. It'd be shame for something with potential not see the light of day, especially with your special brand of humor.

yeah, i'd imagine she'll generally have the "small pursed up mouth and crosseyes" look that is the trademark of a confused airhead.

I'm not much of an arty-person, but this does look quite good. I'm surprised this hasn't been scouted for the Art Portal yet, so I went ahead and recommended it.

Lighting is well done, and you put attention to detail. The costume for the major character is also great, but it reminds me of a similar outfit from Lost Planet. The gun was also done very well, but what would you need for a reference to it?
Also, if this were an animation instead of a painting, I bet it wouldn't be rated "E" for long...

I basically just needed a refresher on how a nifty gun looked. As you can tell by the ref, there is really no resemblance, I just kinda needed a basic structure for a refresher. :)
